How did I get here?

I first came here at the age of nineteen, backpacking around the world. In the decade since then this place has drawn me back again and again, until finally I moved here full time, about four years ago.

Can you give me advice about moving to Thailand?

I can definitely give you honest advice about being an expat woman and business owner in Thailand, and specifically on this island. For more general enquiries google is your friend, or check out Stickman, he gives great advice about moving here.

Can I give you a job?

Almost certainly if you are a chef, probably if you’re a waiter, and maybe if you’re a bartender.

Can I tell you how to get a job?

I can, but again you’re better off searching the internet for jobs relevant to you, or looking on Thai Visa for information on  job posting. Or read my post on teaching english in Thailand.

Can I advise you about Thai men?

Again I can, but I’m not going to. You’re better off checking the Ladies in Thailand forum on Thai Visa to get a truly vicious/realistic/painfully accurate generalisation of Thai men.
